సురబిం యజ్ఞా స్య జననీ మాతరం త్వానమామ్యాహం” | సర్వ తీర్ధములు గోమాతలోనే ఉన్నాయని, వేదములన్నీ గోమాతలోనే ఉన్నాయని, గోమాత యజ్ఞమునకు తల్లి వంటిదని ఈ శ్లోకం అర్థం. గోమాత సర్వ శుభ రూపిణి. ముక్కోటి దేవతలకు నిలయం గోమాత.
